The Vertical Metaphorical Structure of the Cemetery Analyzing Method

p. 255-259
For an architect, studying cemetery implies discovering a universe much larger than a usual architecture program, so in order to acquire and analyze this function, a new order must be found. This order goes beyond the material skin of the architecture and exposes a vertical structure of the cemetery as complex transdisciplinary entity that becomes a matrix of analysis. The study is a short abstract of the Master Thesis, called “The Cemetery Layers“ and presents a new perspective of regarding cemetery, in order to reproduce in an architectural project more than a functional project. I introduce new theoretical terms that appoint the new theoretical approach explaining also the relations installed between these terms, using the theory of the 3rd included developed by Basarab Nicolescu.
